Week 5 Results

Week 5 is in the books for the Frenzy and although there is still one game left to play tonight, the standings through 4 weeks of Frenzy play are set.

Week 4 began with 5 unbeatens and ends with only 3 remaining. With big wins from the Eagles (33-14), Vikings (38-10), and Giants (44-7), LRobbins, Jeff C, and D10206156 are still undefeated and lead their divisions. The 17-14 loss by the Ravens to the Bengals, who just plain outplayed the Ravens, gave Monica and bharris their first losses of the season.

In other games around the league The Steelers kept pace in the AFC North with a 28-20 win over the Lions, and the surprising Denver Broncos moved to 5-0 with an overtime win over the Patriots, 20-17. They remain one of 5 unbeatens in the NFL. The other four are the 5-0 Colts, who look completely dominant and almost unbeatable, 5-0 New York football Giants, 5-0 Vikings and the 4-0 Saints.

A preview of week 6 in the NFL will be coming shortly after tonight's Jet/Dolphins AFC East matchup.

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
