There's still one more game to go this week, but who is it again? Oh yeah, the Giants and the Browns. Nobody in this league cares about this game. So on to the results.
In somewhat of an upset the Cowboys got beat by the Cardinals. Maybe the Cowboys aren't quite the juggernaut most thought they were. The Eagles left SF 40-26 winners over the Niners. The Colts POUNDED the Ravens. I guess that's what 5 turnovers on the road in Indy will do for you... 31-3. The Saints were big winners, 34-3, leaving yours truly as the only remaining unbeaten. That's right. I said the ONLY REMAINING UNBEATEN. And that leads me to the UPSET OF THE WEEK... With the way the Redskins have been playing and the way the Rams have been playing, this game was a total gimme... a no brainer!!! I mean the 'Skins were double digit favorites for crying out loud. Not so, as the RAMS went into DC and picked up their first victory of the year, 19-17. The Vikings won, the Jets won, and the Broncos, Patriots, and Seahawks lost.
Starting Tuesday, the selection window for week 7 will be open. You'll have until Sunday the 19th at 1:00pm to get your picks in. Good luck to everyone, but especially to aj9696 and Joey Gravatt. Nobody likes to be winless.

something to consider for next year: person picks 2 of their 3 teams. the last team is randomly generated by the computer. September 22, 2008 9:32 PM

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
