Week 5... In Review

Now a little more than a quarter of the way through the NFL season and almost halfway through the Frenzy season and there is some separation starting to develop. In the NFL there is no longer any unbeaten team as the Colts were able to hand the Chiefs their first loss. However, in the Frenzy there are 5 players who remain undefeated. There are two players with only 1 win and everyone else is lumped in between.

Week 5 winners, other than the Colts 19-9 victory (and those who picked the Colts-Carp & GRIER), were the Ravens, 31-17 (Gridiron Guru, thehaier, GoDawgs, mhelsdon, & <3 KeV <3), Jets, 29-20 (Fumble), and Giants (Jking) who shockingly won big, 34-10. Everyone else, who picked what seemed to be sure things, lost as the Raiders shocked the Chargers, the Redskins took down the Packers, and the Cardinals surprised the Saints.

There's 4 days until week 6 kicks off, so you have about 96 hours to get your selection in. Have fun.

I think the winnings breakdown should be 50/30/20. September 22, 2008 9:21 PM

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
