It came down to the wire and in the last week of the Frenzy regular season there were some shifts in the playoff picture. The top four spots kept their playoff berths, but Jeff C. fell from the #2 seed to the #3 seed, with Cam2109 taking over #2. Although the Patriots lost, LRobbins maintains #1 as the Pats only lost by 1 and no one was able to make up the points differential. Gridiron Guru hung in there to take keep the #4 seed. A Saints victory, coupled with a Steelers loss and a Panthers win, but not by enough to overtake Monica, Monica keeps the 5th spot and Jay Dub knocks Fumble of the playoffs by 5 points and just misses the 5th spot by 3 points.
There still one more game to be played this week, but it will have no bearing on the Frenzy playoffs. It's just for a double shot of pride for me, as my boys take on the Packers in Lambeau. Congrats to those who've made it the next life, and good luck. For those of us who didn't... I hope to see you next year and better luck then.
A playoff overview will be coming soon, with the seedings and quick glance at playoff scoring.

something to consider for next year: person picks 2 of their 3 teams. the last team is randomly generated by the computer. September 22, 2008 9:32 PM

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
