At halftime of the championship round Jeff Gravatt leads 5687 by 24 points, 7-(-17). The Colts beat out the Jaguars in a come from behind, 31-24 victory giving Jeff his 7 pts. and the Steelers, in a battle for AFC supremacy, lost to the Titans, giving the Titans the #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs and taking 17 pts. from 5687.
In the other games that mattered, the Patriots pasted what could be the worst playoff team in the history of the NFL (although the AFC West winner could have a decent argument in that one), the Arizona Cardinals, 47-7. That thumping, along with the Giants win in overtime by only 6 moves Stephanie into the final consolation round for a chance at third place and $20.00, 40-6 over Mark Wood. With my boys puttin' it to The 'Boys IN Dallas in what WILL be the last game played in Texas Stadium ever, 33-24, and the Colts win, kerri78 wins, 7-(-9) to go into the final consolation round up against Stephanie.
With one week left in the NFL regular season I want to take the time to thank all of you for playing and I hope you enjoyed playing and will join us again next season. Good luck in Week 17 to the four remaining players.

something to consider for next year: person picks 2 of their 3 teams. the last team is randomly generated by the computer. September 22, 2008 9:32 PM

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
