The games are over for week 4 and there are 4 unbeatens. The surprise of the week has to be the (then 0-3) Chiefs over the (then 3-0, and highest scoring team in the NFL) Broncos, 33-19. LJ came up with 198 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. A close second, though, is definitely the Redskins marching into Big D and leaving with a victory. The NFC East is tough this year. The Chargers had a bit of a scare as it took them a while to get their offense going after being down 15-0 to the hapless Raiders who are about to REALLY fire their head coach. The Saints, as expected, beat the 49ers and the Buccaneers took out Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. With no Al Harris in that secondary, the Packers just aren't that good.
The story of the week (in case you hadn't heard) was Brett Favre. 6 touchdowns and 56 points as the Jets shot down the Cardinals 56-35.
The Ravens are STILL getting no respect, even after the battle they put up against the Steelers. Tony "goof-ball combover" Kornheiser-"Have we overrated the Pittsburgh Steelers?" How about... NO!!! The Ravens defense is the No. 1 defense in the league for a reason?
The selection window for week 5 is now open. Go ahead and get your picks in. You have until Sunday at 1:00pm. Good luck.

something to consider for next year: person picks 2 of their 3 teams. the last team is randomly generated by the computer. September 22, 2008 9:32 PM

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
