Week 3 Results

Football Fans,
Week 3 is over and there are 11 losers in the book this week. The most surprising is, without a doubt, the New England Patriots. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. This one can't go squarely on "The Backup's shoulders." This one definetly falls on the defense. The Patriots' D decided it would be best if they just didn't show up. Ronnie Brown ran for 4 TD and threw for 1 more. Good job NE. Other losers included Indianapolis, and Chicago.

Jacksonville got their first win, and Tampa Bay edged out the Bears. Other notable scores include the Ravens 28-10 drubbing of the Browns who are now 0-3. See, I told you they weren't really that good. Also, Dallas took care of business in Green Bay and got their first win EVER at Green Bay. Philadelphia, in what I expected to be a bit of a shootout (or at least a higher scoring game than 21 total points), beat the Steelers 15-6. Buffalo eeked out a win after being down 9 points with 4 minutes left, 24-23. Washington helped Mark Wood pad his lead with a 24-17 win over the Cardinals. Look out for the 'Skins this year... apparently. Minnesota picked up a win vs. Carolina and San Diego beat B-B-Bret and the Jets, 48-19.

Week 4 is now underway and the selection window is open. You have until 1pm next Sunday to get your picks in. On a side note, I should remind you all that you CAN pick your weeks in advance if you think you might be preoccupied ahead of time.

To get the game favorites go to the "HOME" menu and click on "Weekly Favorites." This will open a new window at Bodog.com that lists the current week's favorites.

Good Luck everyone.

What do you guys think about keeping the rules the same as far as picking your three teams and each week picking one, but instead of JUST picking a team, you get scheduled against an opponent who is also in the game. The person whose team wins by the most(or loses by the least) gets the victory? September 25, 2008 12:05 PM

I might remove the BYE week and start the playoffs a week early. This would set up a two week opening round, a one week 2nd round, and a two week championship round... 5 weeks of playoffs altogether. This might aleviate some of the tiebreaker issues I'm trying to work around with the current playoff set up. December 22, 2008 11:12 AM
